How the app and this website use your data.

Last updated:

The app

CoquePite is an application published under the name hushi.fr. It displays webapps you choose, including services on your boat’s network. It does not require a CoquePite account and contains no advertising, advertising trackers or usage analytics service.

The app does not send the navigation data it displays to hushi.fr. The services you open and optional iCloud sync have the data practices described below.

Local data

Pages, names, tab order, panels, layouts, addresses and the information needed to find your services are stored on your device. Local Network permission allows the app to discover and reach accessible equipment; its names and addresses may be used in the catalog.

Webapps may store cookies, sign-ins, preferences and caches in CoquePite’s WebKit storage. This storage is separate from Safari and shared between panels according to site rules. CoquePite does not send this storage to hushi.fr.

Web services

Discovery, loading and authentication requests go to the servers and websites you use. They receive the information required for these exchanges, including your connection’s IP address, requests, applicable cookies, and the information you enter or commands you send.

A remote service or webapp may contact its own providers, keep logs or have its own privacy policy. Check each service’s information. CoquePite does not operate these services or determine their practices.

Opening the default browser uses that browser’s session and rules. Local HTTP connections are not encrypted; HTTPS protects traffic when the service provides it.

iCloud

iCloud sync is optional and off by default on a new installation. When available and enabled, pages and layouts are sent to the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple account so that you can use them on your devices.

This includes page names, panels, app assignments, layout variants, references and addresses needed for webapps, and internal identifiers and revisions used to resolve conflicts. Cookies, entered passwords, web sessions and site caches are not part of this sync. Addresses detected as containing authentication parameters stay local; this filtering does not replace checking URLs you enter.

Apple hosts this data under the terms of your iCloud account. hushi.fr operates no sync server. For Apple’s own data practices, see Apple’s privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Local configuration and persistent site data remain on your device until changed or deleted. Hidden web documents may remain briefly in memory to preserve their state; the system can release them earlier. Device backups may retain data depending on your Apple settings.

You can delete pages and sources in CoquePite. Advanced options in Settings → Webapps and servers let you clear caches or delete data for one or all sites. Deleting web data may sign you out of several webapps on the same site; it does not delete your layout or data on their servers.

Turning iCloud off stops sync without erasing pages already stored in iCloud. To sync a page deletion across devices, delete it with sync enabled and let the exchange complete. Deletion identifiers, dates and revisions are retained to prevent an offline device from recreating the page; they no longer contain its content. Uninstalling the app does not automatically remove its iCloud data. You can also manage backups and iCloud data using the Apple tools available for your account.

Website and logs

coquepite.hushi.fr is self-hosted by hushi.fr. Its pages use no cookies, audience measurement, tracking scripts or advertising resources.

The hosting system nevertheless retains technical visit logs. These may include IP addresses, dates and times, requested resources and URLs, request results and, depending on received headers, browser and referring-page information. These logs support the operation, diagnosis and security of the website on the basis of its operator’s legitimate interests.

Logs are currently retained with no defined time limit. They are accessible to the operator administering the website. They are not used for advertising. Contact the address below with any request concerning your data in these logs.

Support

If you email coquepite@hushi.fr, hushi.fr receives your email address, message content and any attachments. This information is used to answer and follow up on your request, together with the email provider used to deliver and store correspondence.

Correspondence is retained for the time needed to handle and follow up on the request. You may ask for it to be deleted. Do not send sign-in credentials, access tokens or sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

Your rights

For privacy questions or requests to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, contact coquepite@hushi.fr. Requests are reviewed under applicable rights and obligations. You may also complain to the CNIL or your country’s competent authority.

hushi.fr cannot remotely delete data stored only on your device or in web services you choose. For that data, use CoquePite’s controls, Apple settings or the relevant service’s tools.

This policy will be updated if data practices change. The date at the top indicates its latest revision.
